NFL Power Rankings: Philadelphia Eagles keep hope alive in Week 13
13. Tennessee Titans
Unlike 28 other teams in the NFL, the Tennessee Titans actually had their Sunday off to prepare for a Monday Night Football bout against AFC South frontrunners the Houston Texans.
Will this extra day of preparation be enough to vault the Titans into a two-way tie for second place in the South alongside the Indianapolis Colts? Only time will tell, but for me at least, there really isn’t a more entertaining team to watch than the Titans.
With a dynamic starting quarterback in Marcus Mariota, a slew of interesting pieces on both sides of the ball, and a surprisingly effective first-year head coach in Mike Vrabel, Tennessee is a team that can seriously punch above their weight class, and take out pretty much any team on any given Sunday (or in this case Monday).
Need proof? Just ask the New England Patriots, who they surprisingly delivered a loss to back in Week 10.
But can they do so once again against the Texans in the first game since their owner untimely passed away? Do the Titans have enough time and firepower to dethrone Houston atop their division and secure their second straight playoff berth? Only time will tell, but with five completely winnable games left to play on their schedule, the ball is certainly in the Titans’ court
