18. Denver Broncos

After amassing a 3-6 record over the first nine weeks of the NFL season, the Denver Broncos have somehow found a way to put it all together and go on a bit of a win streak as of late.

Their latest victim? The Pittsburgh Steelers.

Yeah, the now 7-3 Steelers who are all but guaranteed to win the NFC North even without Le’Veon Bell in their offensive backfield.

Who saw that one coming?

Now, this may not be the start of some magical turnaround, but at 5-6, the Bronco’s postseason hopes are very much still alive, even if they are hanging by only a few trends.

With the Los Angels Chargers, all but guaranteed to earn one of the AFC’s two wild-card berths, probably the fifth seed, the Broncos will have to essentially win out to even have a chance to make it into postseason play, a task that’s easier said than done when you consider the team actually has to welcome LA to the Mile High City for their final game of the season.

However, with a quartet of very winnable games before that fateful showdown, against the Cincinnati Bengals, the San Francisco 49ers, the Cleveland Browns and the Oakland Raiders respectively in the lead up to Week 17, we may be looking at a must watch game that could determine the very soul of the AFC playoff picture on the last Sunday of the season
