20. Miami Dolphins

When the Miami Dolphins have Brock Osweiler under center, they have a 2-4 record.

But apparently, Ryan Tannehill isn’t the answer either, as the team is 3-3 in games where their starting quarterback is under center, including three straight losses to the New England Patriots, Cincinnati Bengals, and Indianapolis Colts.

Maybe the team’s starting quarterback isn’t the problem at all, but rather their ‘wunderkind’ head coach who watched helplessly from the sideline as the Frank Reich’s squad scored 13 straight points to ice out the game 27-24, dropping the Dolphins to a 5-6 record.

Now granted, 5-6 is hardly a death knell in the modern NFL, as about a third of the teams in the league are within a game of the .500 mark, but still, when you play in the same division as the New England Patriots, every single game matters for playoff seating, especially when it’s against an AFC team with a similar record.

With four of the Dolphins final five games coming against AFC opponents, as well as an unfortunate Week 15 trip to face off against the Minnesota Vikings on their home turf, it’s going to be pretty hard for Miami to make a trip to the postseason, a fate that could very well put their head coach’s future with the team into question.
