27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Once again, things were so bad for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on offense during Sunday’s game against the New York Giants that Dirk Koetter decided to make another switch at quarterback, with this time benching Ryan Fitzpatrick for Jameis Winston. After a three-interception day by the veteran quarterback, it was easy to understand the decision by the Buccaneers to go back to Winston, and when seeing the spark the former No. 1 pick provided while almost pulling off the epic comeback, chances are he will continue to be the starter.

Things quickly turned around for Tampa Bay once Winston took over at quarterback after he finished the game completing 12 of 16 passes for 199 yards with two touchdowns, including a 41-yard touchdown to Mike Evans in the fourth quarter. Some will say this situation is the perfect example of too little, too late for Winston, but with the Buccaneers season basically over at this point with a 3-7 record, now the focus could become whether he deserves to be the starter of the future.

On paper, both Winston and Fitzpatrick were fortunate enough to be part of an offense loaded with talent at receiver led by Evans and DeSean Jackson. But when seeing how they couldn’t even find a way to win against another struggling team in the Giants, this is just one of many examples of how frustrating this season has been for the Buccaneers.
