28. Buffalo Bills

What an interesting time for the bye week to come for the Buffalo Bills when seeing how their offense had been horrendous before Matt Barkley filled in at quarterback. No, Barkley isn’t going to be the long-term answer for the Bills, and he certainly deserves a ton of credit for helping the team put up 41 points in Week 10 against the New York Jets.

However, the whole reason Buffalo invested a first-round pick on Josh Allen back in April was the hope he would be the long-term answer under center. Like most rookies, Allen was seeing plenty of ups and downs before his elbow injury started to become a problem, but the Bills understand the importance of giving him the necessary experience.

Only time will tell when it comes to seeing whether Allen will be healthy enough to play in Week 12 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. If Allen’s elbow is still bothering  him, well at least Barkley will be excited to get another chance to prove himself against a Jaguars team that has been difficult to figure out. As mentioned before, Barkley may not be the long-term answer in Buffalo, but at least the former USC star can still make a name for himself when it comes to a future job, whether it happens to be with the Bills or a different team.
