32. New York Jets

After losing four games in a row, the New York Jets were in desperate need of the bye week, and it will be interesting to see how this season finishes out when it comes to Todd Bowles when seeing how the head coach has been on the hot seat as of late. At first, the Jets seemed like they would be willing to give Bowles the benefit of the doubt since the team was expected to go through another year of rebuilding with Sam Darnold under center, but it looks like that may no longer be the case.

When seeing how decent New York looked early on in the season, it’s easy to understand why fans are feeling so much frustration towards the team since some of their performances before the bye week can best be described as pathetic. It was one thing to come up short against teams like the Minnesota Vikings or Chicago Bears, but watching them get embarrassed by the Buffalo Bills in which they lost 41-10 means Bowles is looking at his seat heat up more than ever.

To make things even more frustrating, Darnold was absent from that game against the Bills while dealing with a foot injury, meaning Josh McCown was forced to take over under center. Darnold is clearly in need of all the experience he can get, so here’s to hoping the rookie quarterback gets healthier sooner rather than later to gain a little more action before his first season comes to an end.
