NFL Power Rankings, Week 12: Eagles fall to Saints in embarrassing fashion

21. Denver Broncos
To say the Denver Broncos have been in desperate need of a big win when looking at how quickly this season went downhill would be a huge understatement. And even though the Broncos didn’t seem like they had much of a chance on the road in Week 11 against one of the hottest teams the NFL has to offer in the Los Angeles Chargers, Vance Joseph may have saved his job for at least another week.
Heading into Sunday’s game, Los Angeles was riding an unbelievable six-game winning streak, and while it seems unlikely Denver would end up winning a game in which Case Keenum failed to throw a single touchdown, this was exactly the case. Believe it or not, Keenum did just enough on offense yardage wise without recording any turnovers and relied heavily on his ground game to help the Broncos win for just the second time since their 2-0 start.
Of course, this win could also be viewed as a too little, too late situation for Denver since their 4-6 record doesn’t help their chances of making a push for the playoffs in the final six weeks. But just because the Broncos are a long shot at the moment doesn’t mean this team is going to stop fighting, so it will be interesting to see how this team plays during their next battle against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
