22. Philadelphia Eagles

Can the Philadelphia Eagles officially hit the panic button after that embarrassing loss to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday? When looking at all of the injuries the Eagles have been dealing with on the defensive side of the football, this seemed like a game in which the Saints would have a field on offense, especially with Drew Brees looking like a stronger MVP candidate each week.

Turns out, this was exactly the case, as Philadelphia allowed New Orleans to put up 48 points while the offense only scored a single touchdown. Eagles fans will be the first to say they have never seen Carson Wentz has never looked as frustrated the way he did during this loss after the former first-round pick finished the game with three interceptions, although some of them came in desperation time when he was just trying to make a big play happen.

Still, this doesn’t take away from the embarrassing performance put together by Philadelphia overall, and it’s beyond frustrating to see them continue missing out on opportunities to inch closer to the top of the NFC East. Even if the case can be made that the Eagles can get back in with four of their final six games being within the division, it’s tough to feel confident about this team right now.
