NFL Power Rankings, Week 12: Eagles fall to Saints in embarrassing fashion

24. New York Giants
Even though it happened to come against the San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the New York Giants have plenty of reasons to be thrilled over winning two games in a row when seeing how much of a disaster this season has been for the most part. Odell Beckham Jr. made it clear recently in his belief that New York could find a way to turn things around to close out the season on a hot note, and it sounds crazy to even consider, but this is a team to keep an eye on the rest of the way.
Talent wise, New York always had the potential to become one of the contenders again in the NFC since they added a top talent at running back in Saquon Barkley to join an offense that already had a dangerous receiver in Beckham. One can only imagine what kind of potential this New York team is going to have over the next couple of years, but if this team is going to have any chance of turning things around somehow, they know it’s important to take things one game at a time.
The Philadelphia Eagles had little trouble getting by the Giants during the first meeting, but the circumstances are much different this time around. If New York somehow extends that winning streak to three games, the month of December is going to be fun for Pat Shurmur’s squad.
