NFL Power Rankings, Week 12: Eagles fall to Saints in embarrassing fashion
By Dan Parzych
The Philadelphia Eagles took another fall in the 2018 NFL Power Rankings for Week 12 following an embarrassing loss to the New Orleans Saints.
After taking a tough fall in the 2018 NFL Power Rankings following a tough loss to the New Orleans Saints, it’s not looking good for the Philadelphia Eagles heading into Week 12 following Sunday’s brutal loss to the New Orleans Saints. All week, the Eagles were considered an absolute long shot to pull off the upset on the road over the Saints when seeing how the two teams compared on paper, but nobody expected things to be this bad.
To say the injury bug has caught up with Philadelphia in the worst possible way this season would be a huge understatement when seeing how the defending champions just can’t seem to catch a break on either side of the football. Most frustrating of all, it’s hard to even keep track if which cornerbacks are actually healthy for the Eagles, and watching the Saints take advantage of this with their high-powered offense wasn’t surprising one bit during their 48-7 victory to improve to 9-1.
Sadly, this was one of those games that was extremely painful for Philadelphia fans to watch since it’s tough to imagine this team was considered a strong contender early on in the NFC before going on to lose five of their last seven games. Eagles fans may not want to talk about it, but let’s just see how bad things have been in the latest NFL Power Rankings for Week 12 since this team seems like they will need a miracle at this point just to have a shot at the playoffs.
