Prediction

This game really could go one of two ways. It could be one of those games that the Eagles go in and win when they really have no right in winning the game like New England in 2015. Or they could be embarrassingly blown out, like in Denver in 2013 or Green Bay in 2014.

When looking at the quarterbacks in this matchup, both Brees and Wentz are very good quarterbacks having strong seasons statistically. But, with the game being in New Orleans and Brees having a ton more experience than Wentz, the Saints get the edge there.

It is really hard to find an area in which the Eagles are better than the Saints going into this game. There are just not many scenarios in which I can see the Eagles winning this football game. They are going to need something big to go their way.

For the Eagles to win this game, they are going to need to make some big plays on defense or special teams. They are also going to need to force some turnovers, something they have been strangely poor at doing this season.

Also, the Eagles are going to need to be perfect on offense to keep up with the Saints and win this game. There is just scenario in which I can see that happening. The Eagles offense has struggled all year, and it is hard to envision them doing anything different in the hostile Superdome.

This game may be a bit closer than expected early, but the Saints will pull away in the second half and cruise to an easy victory over the Eagles.
