As the Philadelphia Eagles head south to New Orleans to take on the Saints on Sunday afternoon here are three keys to an unlikely win.

Following their bye week, the Philadelphia Eagles were supposed to trample the Dallas Cowboys and gain some momentum going into the second half of the season. That did not happen as the Eagles fell to Dallas 27-20 last Sunday night.

The Eagles will look to bounce back and return to .500 on Sunday afternoon when they travel to the Superdome and take on the New Orleans Saints. This will be no easy task as the Saints lead the charge in the NFC, sitting at 8-1 on the season.

To make things tougher, the Saints are practically unbeatable at home, having one of the best home-field advantages in the NFL. The difficulty of this game makes last week’s loss to Dallas that much more difficult to fathom.

As tough as it will be, this is almost a must-win game for the Eagles. A loss will drop them to 4-6 on the season and make their already slim chances of making the playoffs virtually impossible. A win will go a far way in reviving the Eagles going forward.

Many have compared this game to the Eagles trip to play New England in 2015. They went into that game reeling off of two blowout losses and were huge underdogs. Then, the Eagles walked away with a 35-28 win over the then-defending Super Bowl champions. They did not make the playoffs that year, but it did add some life to a lost season.

Can the Eagles get a similar spark on Sunday afternoon against New Orleans? If so, how can they do it? Continue on for three keys to an Eagles win on Sunday plus a prediction!
