NFL Power Rankings: Philadelphia Eagles fall flat in Week 11
2. Los Angeles Rams
After weeks, and weeks, and weeks of sitting happily atop NFL power rankings, the Los Angeles Rams are without a doubt the new number two in the NFL behind a team you can all but infer if you’ve been keeping track.
And had they not found a way to squeak out a win against the now 4-5 Seattle Seahawks, that number could have dipped even further.
Call it an unfortunate hangover from a mid-season showdown of Super Bowl proportions, but the Rams were a few plays away from dropping to 8-2 as opposed to 8-1 in a race for NFC supremacy against their new foes in the Big Easy.
Is the formula officially out on how to beat the Rams?
That’s very possible, but another team’s 53 men will have to beat the Rams’ 53, which is a task that’s easier said than done. With elite players at half a dozen different positions across the depth chart, the Rams will without a doubt be in every single game they play for the back half of the season and likely secure home-field advantage for the 2018 playoffs moving forward. If they can blow past the Chiefs and the Eagles in November, and December respectively, the Rams may finish out the season 15-1.
