16. Miami Dolphins

It has been a tale of two teams for the Miami Dolphins.

When Ryan Tannehill has been under center, the team has played pretty well, going 3-2 including a solid win over the Tennessee Titans, but when he’s unable to go and his backup, Brock Osweiler, enter the game the Dolphins look like a completely different team going 2-4 including an ugly loss in Week 11 against the Green Bay Packers.

After consistently ignoring the quarterback position year after year in the draft, I think it’s pretty clear Miami would be foolish to pass on another promising high-profile signal caller in the 2019 NFL Draft, especially if they continue to play poorly and end up out of the playoffs for the second straight season.

Unfortunately, that’s looking like more and more of a possibility with each passing week that Osweiler is under center.

Now, to be fair, the Dolphins are far from eliminated from the playoffs at 5-5, but when you play in the same division as the New England Patriots, it’s a whole lot harder to get a postseason birth with the AFC East’s winner an all but foregone conclusion for the last 15 odd years. Get well soon Ryan; your team needs you.
