NFL Power Rankings: Philadelphia Eagles fall flat in Week 11
20. Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys are now officially 4-5 and in a dead heat for a chance to represent the NFC East in the NFL playoffs, but does anyone really believe that this team can make a run at the Super Bowl?
Sure, they looked great against the Eagles, but it seems almost comical to imagine dem Boys finishing out the season at .500, let alone a winning record.
And the best part? The Cowboys don’t receive any benefit from being a bad team because they already traded their first-round pick to the Oakland Raiders for Amari Cooper.
Now granted, Cooper played pretty well against the Eagles, hauling in six passes for 75 yards at Lincoln Financial Field, but is he a difference maker worth a first round pick, and eventually a monster contract in the $12-plus million range? Doubtful.
No, the Cowboys are pretty bad, Dak Prescott is probably not a franchise quarterback, and the NFC East appears to be back to the NFC Least once more.
While it would have been incredibly sweet for the Eagles to pull out a win at the Linc, at least we (probably) won’t have to watch Dallas walking off the field with a Lombardi Trophy, a minor victory for heartbroken Philly fans.
