The Philadelphia Eagles return from their bye and play host to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night football. Here are three keys to an Eagles win.

2018 has been an up and down season for the Philadelphia Eagles and you have to look no further than their record to see just that. Sitting at 4-4 at the mid-way point, the Eagles reside at a crossroads going into this Sunday night matchup with the Dallas Cowboys.

This game is a must-win game for both teams as the Eagles sit just one game back of the NFC East-leading Washington Redskins. Dallas sits at 3-5 and a loss will all but crush their hopes of making a return to the postseason. For the Eagles, with a tough second-half schedule, they need this game just as bad.

The edge in this matchup has to go to the Eagles. They have not played in two weeks as they are coming off a bye. Dallas, on the other hand, is playing on a short week, as they played this past Monday night.

This is a matchup of two quarterbacks who were both selected in the 2016 draft. Carson Wentz was selected second overall, and Dak Prescott was picked in the fourth round. There was much debate to who had the better quarterback, but two and half years in, it appears Wentz has the edge.

Sunday night will mark the return of the Eagles’ popular black on black uniforms. Taking that into account, along with playing on Sunday night against the Cowboys, the crowd is going to be raucous come Sunday night.

So without any further ado, let’s take a look at three keys to an Eagles win plus a prediction!
