25. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

When seeing how they were trailing 35-7 at one point, just imagine how different Sunday’s 42-28 loss to the Carolina Panthers could have been if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers jumped out to a better start. Deep down, the Buccaneers knew they were going to be in for quite the challenge on the road when facing the Panthers, but at least making the switch back to Ryan Fitzpatrick seems to have been the right decision instead of Jameis Winston.

Yes, it would have been better to see Fitzpatrick go without the turnovers against Carolina, but it’s tough to ignore how he helped Tampa Bay get back in the contest by finishing the day with four touchdown passes. From a realistic perspective, the Buccaneers are loaded with talent for any quarterback to work with, so it’s good to see the offense find some success in Week 9 with Fitzpatrick under center.

At 3-5, one can only imagine what Tampa Bay’s front office is thinking when it comes to keeping Dirk Koetter as head coach since it’s frustrating to see the team in this position after winning each of their first two games. The pressure was already high for Koetter since the team came close to parting ways with him last year, and as bad as it sounds, he seems like a strong candidate when it comes to being the next to go after Hue Jackson was let go by the Cleveland Browns following Week 8.
