29. Arizona Cardinals

After learning the hard way early on that Sam Bradford was a complete waste of money with that ridiculous one-year contract from the offseason, the Arizona Cardinals finally bit the bullet by releasing the former No. 1 pick last week. Originally, the plan was that Bradford would be the short-term answer for the Cardinals on offense to help them put an end to their two-year playoff drought, but that’s been far from the case.

Instead, Bradford’s struggles early on resulted in Arizona making the easy decision to roll with Josh Rosen as their new quarterback to provide the rookie with some much-needed experience. Just like most rookies, Rosen has seen his fair share of ups-and-downs over the last couple of weeks, but in the long run, this should pay off in a big way for the Cardinals when it comes to replacing Carson Palmer as the new franchise quarterback of the future.

Watching Arizona record just two wins over the first two months of the regular season was surprising when looking at the talent they have to work with on both sides of the football, but now the team is in a mode where they seem to be focused on just developing Rosen. Since Rosen won’t face the San Francisco 49ers again, maybe the rookie quarterback will figure out a way to defeat a few other teams before the end of the year.
