See where the Philadelphia Eagles end up in the 2018 NFL Power Rankings for Week 9 after earning some much-needed rest during the bye.

Thanks to their impressive win in London over the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Philadelphia Eagles ended up in much better shape when it came to the NFL Power Rankings since their record was back at .500. With the bye week, not much has changed for the Eagles heading into Week 10, although as every football fan knows, that could quickly change if things don’t go according to plan when they square off against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night.

Leading up to that big win in London, Philadelphia was one of those teams dealing with numerous injuries on both sides of the football, meaning the bye week couldn’t have come at a better time for Doug Pederson‘s squad. And while it’s been great to see Carson Wentz continue to look more comfortable by the week, the Eagles have to be thrilled over the potential moving forward now that he has a new weapon to work with in Golden Tate.

When looking at the help they were in need of at the wide receiver position, Philadelphia seemed like a strong candidate to make a move before the NFL trade deadline, although it was surprising to see Tate acquired since it didn’t seem like the Detroit Lions would be willing to give him up.

Now that Tate is part of the picture, this should be able to take a ton of pressure off Wentz under center along with benefitting Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor as well.
