NFL Power Rankings Week 9: Philadelphia Eagles make a statement vs JAX

1. Los Angeles Rams

Currently the only team in the entire league with a perfect 8-0 record, is there really any question as to which team would sit atop our power rankings?

The Los Angeles Rams are scary good at virtually every position on the football field, with elite players at about half a dozen positions, easily the most of any team in the entire league.

And on top of that, the team also just so happens to have a genius offensive minded wunderkind running the show as their head coach.

But to be fair, the Rams aren’t necessarily a perfect team, just the most perfect team in the league right now. With half of the team’s eight games so far this season coming by seven points or less, the Rams could conceivably be beaten by an explosive offense with a lockdown D, they just haven’t yet.

But who knows, maybe next week will streak will finally end?

After taking care of the Green Bay Packers in front of their home crowd, the Rams must not fly out east to face off against the New Orleans Saints in what could be the most explosive game of the entire 2018 season.
