13. Cincinnati Bengals

After a three-year hiatus from the postseason, it’s pretty safe to say that the Cincinnati Bengals are going to be in a heated battle for a spot in the playoffs this season, but does this team have enough firepower to get things done?

If Week 9 is of any indication, the answer appears to be a resounding yes.

Even after sending over half a dozen players to IR so far this season, the Bengals are having a moment right now, and playing some pretty great football at the moment.

Well, at least on the offensive side of the ball.

While the Bengals are sitting pretty at 5-3 as they enter their bye week, they’ve given up the third most yards of any team in the league through the first half of the season, including a pretty horrendous 576 total yards to the Bucs in Week 9.

Had Jameis Winston not thrown a quartet of interceptions over three pretty tough to watch quarters, it’s very possible that the team may be sitting at 4-4, not 5-3

With an additional week to get it all together, the Bangels have to be considered one of the more boom-or-bust teams in the league.
