 19. Detroit Lions

On one hand, the Detroit Lions are only sitting 1.5 games back from first place in the surprisingly stacked NFC North. However, that has to be taken with a grain of salt as they are also in last place in their division, with five more divisional games left to play.

Simply put, if the Lions are finally going to return to the postseason in their first season under former Patriots defensive coordinator Matt Patricia, and potentially even win a playoff game for the first time in my lifetime, they’re going to have to put in some serious work moving forward.

Fortunately for the team, they have a pretty solid roster for a team currently in last place.

With a pair of solid wide receivers, a good quarterback, and everyone’s favorite former Eagles running back LeGarrette Blount leading the way at running back, the Lions certainly have some offensive firepower, potentially enough to make up for their current defensive struggles.

Having given up at least 21 points in each of their first seven games, this team is simply can’t stop opposing teams from putting up points, resulting in shootout after shootout, a tough way to win with any consistency.
