21. Tennessee Titans

Two weeks ago, the Tennessee Titans looked like world beaters after taking down the Eagles in overtime. Now, they’re riding a three-game losing streak into their Week 9 bye, with a 3-4 record to show for their efforts.

That’s an almost Buccaneers-esque turn around after a very promising start to the 2018 NFL season.

Now granted, the team hasn’t been downright awful so far this season, as they are right in the middle of the pack at 3-4 and sitting in second place in the alright-at-best AFC South, but with the Houston Texans surging, the Titans may continue to underperform.

Which is a shame, because, on paper, they should actually be a pretty good team.

I guess switching out a head coach can certainly have its growing pains.

After finally returning to the postseason for the first time since 2008 under the watchful eye of Mike Mularkey, Mike Vrabel has had much less success in his first season calling the shots, even if they do have some solid wins under their belt against playoff caliber teams like the Eagles, Texans, and Jaguars.

Those wins look much less impressive when compared to their Week 5 loss to the lowly Bills, the first in a string of three straight Ls.

Hopefully this bye week can help to turn things around for Marcus Mariota and company.
