26. Indianapolis Colts

When looking at all of the frustrating games the Indianapolis Colts have been dealing with throughout the regular season, Sunday was the kind of performance they have been waiting for all along. Not only did the defense do a fantastic job at keeping Derek Anderson in check by forcing four turnovers on the veteran quarterbacks, but the Colts held the Buffalo Bills to scoring just five points, which is quite impressive.

To top it off, Indianapolis benefitted from both Andrew Luck (four touchdown passes) and Marlon Mack (159 yards from the line of scrimmage with a touchdown) having big games on offense. Prior to Sunday, the Colts had lost four games in a row, but it should also be noted that three of them happened to come by single-digits, showing this team is arguably better than their record indicates.

Whether this means Indianapolis has what it takes to turn things around still in the AFC, well luckily there’s still plenty of football remaining since it’s only the end of October. Plus, when looking at how the AFC South is shaping up to be, ruling the Colts out now would be ridiculous since they seem to have just as good of a shot as the rest of their rivals, even if they’re in the basement at the moment.
