NFL Power Rankings, Week 8: Eagles collapse in fourth quarter during loss to Panthers

29. Buffalo Bills
Through the first half of the regular season, the Buffalo Bills have been one of the most difficult teams to figure out since there are weeks in which they look like a complete joke, while others they find a way to make things interesting. As for what the situation was like on Sunday when facing the Indianapolis Colts, well let’s just say the Bills once again looked like a team that deserves to rank near the bottom of the NFL.
Buffalo knew Week 7 may have been difficult to adjust to since they were going with Derek Anderson under center since Josh Allen is going to miss some time. And while Anderson’s veteran experience seemed like the best option, watching him turn the football over four times was concerning for the Bills to see.
With all due respect to Indianapolis, it was kind of disappointing to see Buffalo only put up five points on Sunday, but also shows the work in progress this team is at the moment. After emerging as a surprise contender in the AFC last year while earning one of the Wild Card spots in the playoffs, it’s crazy to think how quickly things have changed for the Bills.
