1. Los Angeles Rams

As the only undefeated team remaining in the NFL, the Los Angeles Rams had little trouble getting by the San Francisco 49ers in Week 7 to improve to 7-0 on the season, and this game seemed to be well over by the time halftime rolled around. A few months ago, this game against the 49ers seemed to have more meaning with Jared Goff squaring off against Jimmy Garoppolo, but unfortunately the San Francisco quarterback has been forced to watch from the sidelines after suffering a torn ACL a few weeks back.

Then again, even if Garoppolo were healthy enough to play in this contest, chances are it wouldn’t have been able to make that much of a difference when seeing how dominant Los Angeles was on defense for the most part. Holding the 49ers to scoring just 10 points was one thing, but seeing how the Rams recorded seven sacks as well made a huge difference in this one.

Even more impressive, four of those sacks alone happened to come from Aaron Donald, showing once again he is worth every penny of that hefty contract he signed before the regular season got underway. Also, Todd Gurley continues to make a strong case for being the favorite to take home MVP honors after finding the end zone three more times during Sunday’s win, improving his touchdown total to 14 through seven games.
