Tavon Young (Baltimore Ravens)

Tavon Young once called Philadelphia home: North Philly that is. Young took the ride down North Broad Street to the Linc for home games in his time with the Temple Owls from 2012-2015.

One of the top prospects to come out of Temple in recent years, Young impressed in his rookie season in 2016. He was a solid role player for the Ravens reeling in two interceptions and one fumble recovery. Though he missed the entire 2017 season with a torn ACL, Young has responded well in the 2018 campaign. In addition to an interception, he’s rushing the quarterback like a madman with two sacks to his credit. All of his accomplishments coming in only two starts so far this season.

Young will surely continue to serve as a solid role player for Baltimore moving forward, but Marlon Humphrey and Brandon Carr are the go-to corners in the Ravens game plan. With better speed than Mills and the ability to generate turnovers, Baltimore may be willing to part ways with Young for a fraction of the price that the big names would cost, and Young could return home to a new nest in Philly.

One could dream, right?
