25. Denver Broncos

After a 2-0 start to the season, the Denver Broncos seemed to finally be on the right track after missing out on the playoffs over the last two seasons, mainly due to poor play at the quarterback position. Turns out, the Broncos are still dealing with some issues on the offensive side of the football, and when seeing their recent poor performance in a loss to the New York Jets, this team appears to be in trouble.

Since that impressive start, Denver has lost each of their last three games, but it’s safe to say Sunday’s was one of the most frustrating ones when considering it happened to be against a New York team going through rebuilding mode. In comparison, this seemed like a matchup the Broncos would be able to use to their advantage, but seeing them allow 31 points to the Jets was tough to watch.

Defense has been one of the major strengths for Denver over the last two seasons, and it’s crazy to see how well the team played for the most part a week earlier against the Kansas City Chiefs, only to look like this when facing New York. One loss doesn’t define an entire season, but this was a game the Broncos couldn’t afford to lose, and they’re quickly falling in the AFC standings with this third loss in a row.
