8. Baltimore Ravens

Just when it seemed like the Baltimore Ravens were rolling on both sides of the football, the team received a major wake up call on Sunday during their overtime loss to the Cleveland Browns, although deep down, nobody should be really that surprised. Due to the history between these two teams, the Browns tend to play some of their best football whenever they face the Ravens, but Sunday’s loss was a tough one.

As if losing in overtime wasn’t already frustrating enough, Baltimore also has to deal with the fact that they failed to score a single touchdown the entire game while settling for three field goals instead. Through the first couple of weeks, the Ravens received plenty of praise for the improvements made on the offensive side of the football since the defense always seemed to be in great shape with the unit consistently ranking near the top of the league.

Give the defense credit since Baltimore did in fact hold Cleveland to just 12 points, but this was one of those games in which the offense needs to step up, and do more on their end. Also, the Ravens need to do a better job of avoiding games like Sunday when Joe Flacco is forced to throw the football 56 times, which can’t happen for the veteran quarterback since that’s too much of a workload.
