17. Miami Dolphins

When taking into consideration they were hanging on to a 17-0 lead in the middle of the third quarter, the Miami Dolphins seemed like they were going to cruise to a big win on the road over the Cincinnati Bengals. Instead, the Dolphins completely embarrassed themselves by allowing the Bengals to score the final 27 points of the game, with 14 of those points coming from defensive touchdowns.

Despite their Week 4 loss to the New England Patriots, Miami was viewed as one of the best surprises from the 2018 season following their 3-0 start to make it seem like they would be a top contender in the AFC. And while there is still plenty of time for this to happen, the Dolphins have to be kicking themselves over losing two in a row.

The loss to New England was understandable since there’s a reason why Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are considered two of the greatest ever, but there’s no excuse for what happened in Cincinnati. Looking back, this will be one of those weeks in which Miami knew they should have ended up on the winning end, and hopefully this won’t come back to haunt them in the final standings.
