23. New York Jets

Talk about a surprise win for the New York Jets the team used a strong second half against the Denver Broncos to take control of the game before going on to win 34-16 to improve to 2-3 on the season. Despite playing at home, the Jets seemed like they would be in for a tough challenge when facing a tough defense in the Broncos, but it looks like Sam Darnold had other plans.

The former USC star’s rookie campaign got off to an amazing start after pulling off the major upset on the road in a win over the Detroit Lions, but it’s been a struggle for the most part since then. The fact that Darnold only completed 10 passes against the Broncos’ defense, and had three of them go for touchdowns shows how great of a win this was for the Jets.

Maybe New York is in better shape than originally expected this was quite the impressive victory at home against a Denver team many expected to be a top contender in the AFC. Even if the Jets don’t make the playoffs down the road, these are the kind of wins that will make the team feel much better about their new potential franchise quarterback in Darnold.
