The Philadelphia Eagles dropped a few spots in the 2018 NFL Power Rankings Week 6 after a tough loss at home to the Minnesota Vikings.

Another game, another disappointing effort on the end of the Philadelphia Eagles after the team suffered a tough 23-21 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, meaning the team took another hit in the 2018 NFL Power Rankings for Week 6. For a team that spent the beginning of the season in the top 10, this past weekend made it clear that Philadelphia is still a work in progress when looking at all of the struggles surrounding the defending champions, whether it happens to be their fault or not.

Sunday was one of those games in which most football fans circled right away on their calendar since they knew the stakes would be high in this rematch of the NFC Championship from last January. Not to mention, when looking at all of the years Kirk Cousins spent in the NFC East torching the Eagles, all eyes would be on the new Vikings quarterback to see if he could bring out some of that magic against his old division rivals.

Despite the run game struggling, Cousins was still able to do enough in the passing game to help Minnesota get out of their recent funk, and pick up their second win of the season to improve their record to 2-2-1 on the season.

As for the Eagles, this team clearly has a lot of work to do in the next couple of days since they could find themselves at a disadvantage playing on a shorter week with a Thursday meeting with the New York Giants. Until then, it’s time to take a look, and see where Philadelphia ends up in the latest NFL Power Rankings for Week 6.
