3. Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears may have entered Sunday’s contest with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as early favorites, but nobody expected them to put together the kind of performance they did in the win, especially on the offensive side of the football. While the defense has quickly worked their way into becoming one of the top units in the league, there were still some questions on offense, including whether Mitch Trubisky was the right answer at center.

Whether Chicago fans want to hear it or not, Trubisky deserves some benefit of the doubt since this is his first year playing in Matt Nagy’s system, and sometimes it takes a little longer for a quarterback to get used to these kinds of things. With that being said, nobody will be questioning Trubisky anymore after the Bears quarterback exploded for a monster performance during the team’s win over the Buccaneers in which he completed six touchdown passes.

Fantasy football owners with Trubisky in their lineup most likely went on to win this week since this was the best game of his short career. Trubisky isn’t going to put up these kinds of numbers on a weekly basis, but at least from a confidence perspective, this is exactly what the Bears wanted to see on offense.
