15. Minnesota Vikings

Should the Minnesota Vikings be concerned over the fact that they only have one win from the first month of the regular season when looking at the high expectations surrounding this team? After falling just shy of reaching the Super Bowl last year, the Vikings were viewed as one of the early Super Bowl favorites in the NFC, and while there’s still plenty of time to make that happen, no one expected them to be 1-2-1 at this point.

Thursday’s game with the Los Angeles Rams was expected to be a shootout between these two teams when looking at the offenses they each had to work with, but seeing Minnesota’s defense struggle the way they did was a major disappointment. No matter how hard the Vikings tried, their defense had zero answers when it came to stopping Jared Goff and the rest of the Rams’ offense after allowing the former California star to toss five touchdown passes in the win.

Up next, Minnesota faces another tough battle on the road, as they will get a rematch from the NFC Championship by taking on the Eagles this Sunday. Philadelphia’s offense hasn’t been consistent at all this year, and while the defense should be well rested, at least Minnesota may have an advantage with Kirk Cousins being familiar with his former NFC East rival.
