22. Pittsburgh Steelers

Is it time for the Pittsburgh Steelers to finally hit the panic button when looking at how the month of September ended up being for Mike Tomlin’s team? Year after year, the Steelers were always viewed as one of the league’s top offenses, and rightfully so when looking at the weapons Ben Roethlisberger had to work with, led by Antonio Brown in the passing game.

At first, Pittsburgh seemed like they would be able to get by just fine without Le’Veon Bell since James Conner seemed ready to handle the responsibilities at running back, but that may no longer by the case. Seeing Conner only rush for 19 yards on nine carries against the Baltimore Ravens is just another example of concern, and even though there are new reports about a potential return date for Bell, there’s no guarantee he’ll be in the necessary shape.

More than ever, Tomlin’s hot seat seems to be hitting a whole new level since this franchise has a lot of pride over being one of the top teams in the NFL, and they shouldn’t be entering Week 5 with only one win to their name. And with an upcoming battle against an Atlanta Falcons team dealing with the same kind of frustration, it’s not going to get any easier for the Steelers.
