Temple Football: 3-keys to a road win at Boston College
By Pete Long
Force Anthony Brown to be a difference maker
Boston College’s quarterback, Anthony Brown, has an absolute cannon for an arm and can make some incredible throws. However, he can also throw for less than 100 yards, throw four picks in a game and airmail wide open receivers when the pressure is on.
Temple’s ball-hawking defense should have an absolute field day with Brown taking snaps under center.
Meanwhile, running back AJ Dillon leads the ACC in both rushing yards and rushing attempts, including a spectacular performance against Holy Cross in which he scored three touchdowns and another game of 185 yards and a touchdown to follow up that performance against Wake Forest. Dillon is an elite back and though Temple’s defensive line should be able to contain him, as they did against Maryland in Week 3, forcing Brown to make the tough plays will certainly see better results on Saturday.
Temple leads the AAC in interceptions and has a powerful front four who leads the AAC in sacks. If the big boys up front can get to Brown and force him to throw it up for grabs, the Owls have a good chance of reeling in one or two game-changing interceptions.
