30. Oakland Raiders

Will the frustrating losses ever come to an end for the Oakland Raiders after allowing another one slip away in Week 3, only this time to the Miami Dolphins? For the third week in a row, the Raiders seemed to be in a great position to earn a victory before allowing their opponent to take over in the second half when it mattered the most, leaving the team in a tough position heading into Week 4.

The whole point of Oakland hiring Jon Gruden in the offseason was to help Derek Carr elevate his game to a whole new level while helping this team return to their winning ways from two years ago when they were a top contender in the AFC. By entering the final weekend of September still in search of that first win, the Raiders are a few more losses away from hitting the panic button, even if the Dolphins deserve credit for looking like one of the top teams early on in the AFC.

On a positive note, at least Jordy Nelson was finally able to breakout with a monster game after hauling in six catches for 173 yards to go along with a touchdown. But when a player like Nelson puts together a performance like this, and the team still ends up on the losing end, it’s tough to enjoy.
