4. Miami Dolphins

The first three weeks of the NFL season has been filled with plenty of big surprises, and right near the top of the list is the Miami Dolphins thanks to their impressive 3-0 start, with their latest victory coming on Sunday when making sure the Oakland Raiders remain winless. After coming up way short of the high expectations a year ago, the Dolphins were one of those teams in which nobody seemed to know what they were capable of, especially with the questions at quarterback.

Instead of going with another quarterback for 2018, Miami decided to give Ryan Tannehill a chance to prove himself worthy one last time, and so far it seems to be paying off in a big way. More than ever, Tannehill seemed like a man on a mission to prove he could still be the quarterback of the future of the Dolphins, and his three-touchdown performance from Sunday just adds to the list of reasons why the team seems to have made the right choice.

Staying healthy was a major concern for Tannehill after seeing how the last two seasons played out for the former first-round pick. All things considered, who would have thought it would be Miami of all teams sitting on top of the AFC East with the end of September approaching?
