2018 NFL Power Rankings Week 4: Eagles earn tough win in Carson Wentz’s return
By Dan Parzych
13. Baltimore Ravens
There were some questions over how the Baltimore Ravens would respond following a tough Week 2 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, but it looks like the extra few days of rest paid off big time for John Harbaugh’s squad. Hosting the Denver Broncos was going to be quite the challenge for the Ravens, but give the defense credit for turning things around after a shaky first quarter to help pull off the 27-14 win.
Seeing Denver score 14 quick points in the first quarter made it seem like Baltimore would be in for another long outing like the game against Cincinnati, but luckily this would be the only points given up in the contest for the defensive unit. Over the years, the Ravens have been known for their stellar play on the defensive side of the football, and while the unit will be key once again, the main difference is going to come down to the offense.
Joe Flacco finally having reliable weapons like John Brown and Michael Crabtree to work with is already paying off in a big way for the Ravens quarterback. If Baltimore can play each week like they did on Sunday, there’s a good chance this is going to be a top contender in the AFC.
