24. Buffalo Bills

In what was hands down the biggest surprise upset of Week 3, the Buffalo Bills came out of nowhere to absolutely shock the Minnesota Vikings on the road with a 27-6 victory, showing once again why there are no guarantees when it comes to professional sports. The first two weeks of the regular season made it seem like the Bills would win maybe a few games at best when seeing how much of a joke this offense appeared to be, but maybe there is hope after all.

To see Josh Allen go on the road in front of a tough Minnesota crowd, and finish with three touchdowns (two rushing) to help his team earn their first win of 2018 makes it seem like Buffalo feels much better about their decision to go with the rookie quarterback. Sean McDermott took quite the heat early when he went with Nathan Peterman under center to start off the new season, and the best part about Sunday’s win is this will certainly boost Allen’s confidence moving forward.

Some questioned the decision by the Bills to go with Allen over another quarterback like Josh Rosen in the first round of this year’s draft. And even though Allen still has a long way to go when it comes to being at the level Buffalo needs to see him at, this was a huge Week 3 win in Minnesota.
