4. Carson Wentz

Isn’t it kind of amazing to think how Wentz and Matthews will both be returning for the Eagles on Sunday against the Colts when looking at the special relationship the two have developed over the years together? One can only imagine how excited Wentz was to hear the news that one of this greatest friends and favorite receivers was going to return to Philadelphia, although Matthews still has a long way to go when it comes to proving himself.

Still, all that matters at the moment is Wentz is healthy enough to play, and if he quickly returns to his MVP level from last season before the injury, one can only imagine the potential surrounding this Eagles’ offense. Of course, Philadelphia’s numerous injuries in the wide receiver department ranging from Alshon Jeffery to Mack Hollins may be a bump in the road for Wentz, but that doesn’t mean he still can’t provide a necessary spark to the offense.

As great as it was to see Nick Foles do his best job under center, Wentz brings a completely different style of play to the table than the Super Bowl MVP. Playing Wentz in Week 3 comes with a lot of risk, but also sometimes those risky moves pay off in a big way, right?
