3. Trade for Larry Fitzgerald

Would the Arizona Cardinals actually consider trading Larry Fitzgerald since he’s in the middle of his 15th season with the team, and has made it clear before his intention to remain there for his entire career? Chances are, the only way this would ever become a possibility is if Fitzgerald gave the go-ahead for it to happen, which could very well end up being the case when looking at how the first two games have gone for the Cardinals.

Losing Carson Palmer to retirement was expected to be a tough adjustment in Arizona, but nobody predicted things would be this bad heading into Week 3, as the team has combined for just six points, and Sam Bradford has yet to toss a touchdown pass. No matter who their opponents were, there’s no excuse for a team like the Cardinals to be playing this bad, and if the struggles continue, moving on from Fitzgerald could give the veteran a better opportunity to compete for a Super Bowl title.

For a receive that recently turned 35 in August, Fitzgerald isn’t getting any younger, and will most likely end up retiring at some point over the next couple of years. So if Fitzgerald were to consider playing for another team to give his dream of winning a Super Bowl a better chance of becoming a reality, Philadelphia isn’t the worst option.
