Here are five potential options the Philadelphia Eagles should consider after the injury to Mike Wallace in Week 2.

Entering the 2018 season with Alshon Jeffery and Mack Hollins dealing with injuries, the Philadelphia Eagles knew they were going to be at a disadvantage when it came to the wide receiver department, and assumed they would be able to get by in September. But after seeing how the last two weeks have gone other than Nelson Agholor, it’s clear the Eagles are in desperate need of help at the wide receiver position if this team is going to have any chance of defending their title during the 2018 season.

To top the frustration off, Philadelphia lost another key veteran during Sunday’s game agains the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after Mike Wallace suffered a fractured fibula, meaning he will be out indefinitely. And even though Wallace had struggled to make an impact on offense before the injury took place, the Eagles receiver deserves some benefit of the doubt since the unit in general was struggling for the most part while dealing with all of these key injuries.

Now that Wallace is going to miss some time, Philadelphia will most likely be looking to bring on some talent before Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts arrives, especially since Carson Wentz is returning, and he’s going to need all of the extra help he can get. Just the thought of some of these players coming to the Eagles sounds crazy, but with Howie Roseman’s history of pulling off deals, here are five options at receiver the defending champions should consider in the wake of losing Wallace.
