26. Oakland Raiders

With a comfortable 19-7 lead towards the end of the third quarter, the Oakland Raiders seemed like they were going to be in for their first win of 2018, which would have been great after a tough loss the week before against the Los Angeles Rams. Instead, the Raiders fell apart when it mattered the most, and as a result, the Broncos would go on to win the game 20-19.

Bringing Jon Gruden on board as the new head coach to replace Jack Del Rio was supposed to help this offense reach the high level they failed to see last year when looking at all of the weapons Derek Carr has to work with. Not only is Carr fortunate enough to work with a duo in Amari Cooper and Jordy Nelson, but having Marshawn Lynch in the backfield was supposed to make life easier for the Raiders quarterback as well.

Even more frustrating, Carr watched one of his better days (29 of 32 for 288 yards with a touchdown) go to complete waste since Oakland couldn’t even end up winning the game. If the Raiders don’t figure out a way to get on track soon, that hefty deal for Gruden is going to look like a complete waste.
