27. Detroit Lions

Things aren’t looking too pretty for Matt Patricia as the new head coach for the Detroit Lions when seeing how the first two games have won, especially since the team arguably could have been sitting at 2-0 instead of 0-2 heading into Week 3. Clearly, this Lions team is a work in progress after this past weekend’s loss to the San Francisco 49ers, but the good news for Patricia is they still have plenty of time to turn things around before it’s too late.

When he’s on top of his game, Matthew Stafford is always going to be viewed as one of the most competitive quarterbacks in the league, and when looking at all of the frustration surrounding this team through two weeks, it’s up to him to figure out a way to fix it. This may sound unfair to say since the poor start isn’t entirely Stafford’s fault, but when looking at all of that money he’s making to play quarterback, it’s tough to feel bad for the Lions star.

Looking ahead, with two upcoming games against the New England Patriots and Dallas Cowboys, Detroit could be at risk to head into October with a 0-4 record. But instead of jumping that far ahead, all eyes will be on the Lions taking on the Patriots next weekend.
