29. Cleveland Browns

Once again, the Cleveland Browns have no one to blame other than themselves for failing to earn their first win since the 2016 season after all of the missed opportunities on Sunday when taking on the New Orleans Saints. While the defense deserves plenty of credit since holding a high-powered offense like the Saints to just 21 points is never an easy task, it was crushing to see Zane Gonzalez miss those two field goals along with the two costly extra points.

As a result of his poor outing, Gonzalez was let go by Cleveland shortly after the team’s Week 2 outing, but if Hue Jackson’s team is looking for some positivity, they have to love the potential after two games. Keep in mind this is a Browns team that entered the year with a 1-31 record over the previous two seasons, and it sounds crazy to say, but they shouldn’t have any trouble winning at least four or five games in 2018.

It’s hard to insert the word potential in the same sentence as Cleveland, but this team deserves some credit for the adjustments made in the offseason to make sure they would be in better shape. One can only imagine how much celebration would have taken place on Sunday if the Browns didn’t allow the Saints to score 18 points in the fourth quarter, but the best thing to do is focus on Week 3 instead of wondering what could have been.

Also, who saw the whole Josh Gordon trade coming?
