4. Minnesota Vikings

Kirk Cousins throwing for 425 yards to go along with four touchdowns would make it seem like the Minnesota Vikings came through with a big win in Week 2, but unfortunately these numbers weren’t good enough to take down the Green Bay Packers after the rivals settled for a tie. Only time will tell when it comes to seeing whether this game will come back to haunt the Vikings in the NFC standings since all signs point to them being a playoff contender, but at least Cousins is living up to the hype.

Moving on from Case Keenum after all of his success from last season was a risky move by Minnesota, but when seeing how this decision would eventually lead to them landing Cousins, it all seems worth it. Any quarterback would love the opportunity to have Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen when seeing how the duo combined for 21 passes for 259 yards with three touchdowns against the Packers, meaning Cousins could very well end up seeing his name in the MVP race when the time comes.

Cousins knew the pressure would be on to prove he was worth every penny of that hefty contract, and so far he seems to be the real deal. With Minnesota’s next battle being against the Buffalo Bills, Cousins could be in for another field day on offense.
