9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Who saw this one coming? After ending up being one of the biggest disappointments from the 2017 season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been playing on an extremely high level over these first two games, with Ryan Fitzpatrick being the main reason why.

After hearing the news regarding Jameis Winston missing the first three games of the season as a result of a suspension, the Buccaneers seemed like they would be experiencing a bit of a rough patch until his return, especially since the team would face three playoff contenders. Instead, Tampa Bay has been one of the biggest surprises from the first two weeks by taking down the New Orleans Saints and Philadelphia Eagles, showing they may end up having what it takes to compete after all in the NFC.

Once again, DeSean Jackson brought out his anger when facing his former team after lighting Philadelphia’s defense up for a 75-yard touchdown on the first offensive play of the game. It sounds crazy to even consider, but if Fitzpatrick leads the Buccaneers to another win on Sunday, this team may end up with a surprise quarterback controversy since keeping Winston on the sidelines may be the best option for the offense, which nobody would have predicted in the offseason.
