12. Philadelphia Eagles

When looking at all of the injuries this team has been dealing with over the last couple of months leading up to Week 1, it seemed like only a matter of time before the Philadelphia Eagles received a major wake up call, which was the case Sunday during their loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And as frustrating as it was to see the defending champions lose this game, at least it will take some of the pressure off the Eagles moving forward since they no longer have to worry about suffering their first meaningful loss since the beginning of December.

Seeing Nick Foles struggle for the most part the way he did over the last two weeks was disappointing for Philadelphia fans, but deep down they knew it wasn’t his fault one bit when looking at what he was forced to work with. Having players like Alshon Jeffery or Mack Hollins healthy would have been a huge difference on offense, but hopefully the Eagles can figure out their issues at receiver sooner rather than later.

Also, one can only imagine what the crowd is going to be like come Sunday when Carson Wentz takes the field for the first time since that devastating knee injury suffered last December. The offense may be dealing with some issues at receiver, but hopefully Wentz can provide the spark the unit has been looking for.
