13. Chicago Bears

If the Chicago Bears were looking to make another statement to show they have what it takes to live up to the hype of making the leap to a serious contender in the NFC, they certainly did so on Monday by taking down the Seattle Seahawks. Normally, Russell Wilson has always been the kind of quarterback that can carry the offense on his own, but Monday’s game was another example of how it’s not always easy to be a one-man show.

By recording six sacks on the Seahawks quarterback, the Bears’ defense continues to show they’re going to make it difficult for any opponent standing in their way throughout the 2018 season. And once again, Chicago pulling the trigger on the trade to land Khalil Mack is turning out to be another amazing decision that’s going to make a huge difference in the long run.

Mack’s presence alone is going to make any quarterback fearful, and seeing him record a sack for a second-straight week after missing all of training camp along with preseason shows he’s a rare kind of talent. Mitch Trubisky may still need a little work, but this isn’t anything Matt Nagy can’t fix as the season progresses.
